Muhammad Zain Ahmad Bilal is an architect and a student of urban theory with an undergraduate in architecture from the National College of Arts Lahore (2024). His thesis, titled “Urban Sacred within the Public Realm”, earned him a distinction. Zain’s work explores the intersection between sacred spaces and the public realm, reflecting a keen understanding of the city's dynamics and its people. Beyond academia, Zain has a passion for documenting architecture and urban life through photography and sketches; he was awarded the 6th BAE-IAP Photography Award in 2023 for his work on “Heterotopic Spaces”. He has also spoken about urban surveying techniques and his thesis as a guest speaker at the University of Lahore. Currently, Muhammad Zain Ahmad Bilal is a practicing architect in Lahore.
